Sony is making waves in the gaming world with the upcoming release of Ghost of Tsushima Director’s Cut on PC, set to launch on May 16th. One of the most exciting features of this release is Sony’s new PlayStation PC overlay, which will revolutionize the way players interact with the game.
This innovative overlay will provide players with access to friend lists, Trophies, settings, and their PlayStation account. The overlay can be easily accessed from the in-game menu or by pressing “SHIFT +F1” on the keyboard, making it convenient for players to navigate through different features while playing.
One of the most thrilling aspects of this release is the shared Trophies system, which will allow players on PC to earn Trophies just like on PlayStation consoles. To take advantage of this feature, players will need to sign in with their PlayStation Network credentials.
In addition to the overlay and shared Trophies, Ghost of Tsushima Director’s Cut on PC will also support Nvidia’s DLSS 3, AMD’s FSR 3, and Intel’s XeSS upscaling. Players can also look forward to full support for the PlayStation DualSense controller with haptic feedback and adaptive triggers.
For those with ultrawide monitors, the game will be playable in resolutions up to 48:9, and triple monitors are supported as well. From a performance standpoint, system requirements for the game range from Intel Core i3-7100 or AMD Ryzen 3 1200 for 720p at 30fps to Intel Core i5-11400 or AMD Ryzen 5 5600 for 4K at 60fps.
Sony’s move towards PlayStation PC doesn’t stop here, with ongoing tests for PSVR 2 support for PC and the company’s president hinting at growth opportunities for PlayStation games on PC. With the upcoming release of Ghost of Tsushima Director’s Cut on PC, Sony is definitely making a splash in the gaming community.
